I can't find anything on it but in Season 5 episode 9 when Horde Prime is looking through feeds of galatic rebellions. There is a scene of 3 MAGICATS and one looks like the old guy from the 80s She-Ra.. did anyone else notice this??
Well this is still posblie even after the end of shera she could have the ability of intelligence or she could be from that other planet and be some sort of royal from there

Because of the new series I think she DOES have powers, talking to animals. I think her crown mask thing was her mother’s, and later on in her life in the hord she found it in Shawdow Weavers lab thing and she kept it, Shawdow Weaver probably killed her mother (which still fits in the theory about her not liking Catras mom), but Adora convinces Her to let Catra keep it.
The episode before light hope was the one where Catra and Adora were stuck together, so the theory about the vacant spot for Catra, would be down, but sence light hope saw her and Catra still needed to get out, the thoery still makes sence. I figured this out and thought someone else has the same question as me.
To the creator:I’ve commented about this so much thank you for talking about this!! I also am curious if ALL princess have a rune stone, like Entrapta, or is Entrapta not an achtual princess, I mean, did she just build HERSELF a kingdom?
well it is true we havent seen other cat like people compared to mermista's people who are basically fish people, we do know scorpia is probable one of the few of her race, i think the creators really should have explored this since is very unlikely catra is "one of a kind" just as scorpia is really not one of a kind too, since she did have family and people of her own race, maybe she'll not be a princes but she still has a entire race to learn about
In hindsight, this is probably the ruler of the kingdom mostly populated by Catra's species. After all, we see other cat people in the series, and not all of them have to be princesses.

Could just be another cat person. Catra may just be some cat girl. That makes her out to be a lot cooler. Plus not to be that guy but didn't the heart of Etheria arc retcon that or at least show only the princesses we've met have runestones.

Comig from 2 years in the future, end of season 5, they’re canon, is beutiful, they kissed, but no one has sayed she’s a princess, but she does have a connecting to some kind of magical *feline*, frome an unknown planet, it’s a half written page.
For those who have seen season 5, my theory is that she’s the princess from that planet, and that she’s a rencarnation frome exactly the same time as Adora, as she is alao a reencanation. That the planet where they found him, was Catras kind planet, and she’s a reeancanated princes

Personally i think that yes she could be a princess, but the reason she is not shown in the hologram is because they assume shes dead. Due to the fact that Light Hope can only track She-Ra she wouldn't know that Catra was alive. The other princesses would also just assume she was dead as well , because she was most likely stolen from her kingdom in a raid and her kingdom declared her dead. SPOILERS– this could explain her strong connection to the magical being in Season 5. In the way that possibly that magical shape shifting being , could travel planets, but once Horde Prime attacked their planet it was no longer possible. I think that if they made a Season 6 this would be a HUGE twist based off of what happened in Season 5.
So sad we will never know. Season 5 is the last season and nothing was revealed. But that catradora kiss was everything for me .😍😍😍😍

Their is a possibility she could be part of a royal family but that does not mean she will have powers. Don’t forget emtrapta (please excuse spelling) is a princess but does not have a rune stone.
