Wen I first got introduced to the combat in this game I thought I was gonna be able to counter and see s new brutal kill I danm near got a reminder of dark souls
Odyssey should've been a new ip tbh.
And instead of playing Alexios or Kassandra you play as Leonidas and lead his 300 army.
Now that would've been a sick game.

I have been in constant complaint that AC haa lost its flavour. Unrealistic Combat. Extra Fantasy stuff. Ghost of Tsushima is getting that much attention because of button mashing gameplay of AC frenchise.

Remember in AC Brotherhood after escaping Castel Sant Angelo you stood on the end of the bridge slaughtering 100s of enemies?
THAT is the combat system that belongs in an AC game.

You're meant to be an assassin who can kill the normal man with ease. Not hitting an enemy 10 times with a spear until his health bar hits 0.
