Alice: Madness Returns is the excellent follow up to “American Mcgee Alice.” This game is often overlooked, but it does a wonderful job of taking you into the twisted and demented mind of Alice and Wonderland. Not many games capture their intended atmosphere like this Madness Returns.
The story follows Alice Liddell, a girl suffering from emotional trauma caused by the death of her parents. Alice was discharged from a psychiatric clinic and now lives in an orphanage for mentally traumatized orphans under the care of Dr. Angus Bumby. To get rid of the trauma and learn the truth about her past, she once again falls into Wonderland, where a new evil force has corrupted it.
As always, we included relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create one fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!

I've known about this game for years. Like forever and I've known the general concepts.
But I'm finally watching this.
And its fricking amazing.

I think a sequel to this game would be better than the prequel to AMA we're getting.
The asylum part is always the most gruesome one in my opinion. Because it's so reminiscent of how patients in asylums used to be treated. The techniques they were subjected to, to "ease their suffering".

The start reminds me up a Modest Mouse music video.
Appearances can be deceiving, yet most people don't know this fact. We have raised a generation of Mr Scruggs and Patrick batman. They are stupid, shallow people who only want to live comfortable, pretty much a pathetic spice who exist for fun.
This game really properly depicted the true story of Alice in Wonderland. I can only guess the Doctor was a reference to the author, and how he spent most of his time around children. Which I guess links to Alice's sister's assault and how sick the author was.
9:30 is the "If you're not on edge, you're taking up too much space." moment and it is gold
we live in a world where video games make better movies than actually theater movies.
