🇪🇸 CEBALLOS IS BACK! | Dani rejoins on loan from Real Madrid | Exclusive interview

Dani Ceballos has rejoined us for a second successive season-long loan from Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old Spain international impressed during his first season in north London, making 37 appearances and becoming an integral part of Mikel Arteta’s team.

Dani also played a key role in our record-extending 14th Emirates FA Cup victory, coming off the bench to score the injury-time winner in the quarter final and starting in the semi-final and final.

Dani will continue to wear the number 8 shirt in the forthcoming season.

Technical director Edu said: “We’re thrilled to have Dani back with us for the new season. We all know his qualities after an impressive 2019/2020 campaign, which ended with him playing a key role in our FA Cup success. We’re excited to add Dani to the list of quality players we are bringing in.”

Mikel Arteta said: “Dani was an integral part of our team last season and finished the season in excellent form. I love Dani’s passion and commitment and he’s a highly skilful player. We’re all delighted to welcome him back and we look forward to seeing him pick up where he left off.”

  1. Great to have someone like Ceballos again, Madrid are losing out on such a great talent and I feel we should capitalise on it. He fights, is ever present and it feels like having Cazorla again with someone determined to fight for every ball, every pass and never see him put a foot wrong.

  2. While only a week is left for the start of the EPL, there is hardly any major signing made of players that we want.

There is a saying that Trust the process but when it comes to Arsenal transfer market, Never trust Arsenal. Cannot get even close a deal done.

Doesn't even have funds for Partey or Aour? What a pity club but boasting about how rich this club is? Shame on Arsenal.

It just shows HOW STAN KROENKE never backs or supports Mikel Arteta? Just look Chelsea and learn from them.

This season 20-21 season Arsenal will be between top 7-10 again .

Also Why are still so many players still here whom we don't want?
Arsenal never show any urgency in making things done.

  3. Now Mess Up can help coach the academy side this season, if he refuses to go to the Land of Beheadings, Tony Blair style kidnappings (and subsequent dismemberment), and Atrocious Human Rights Abuses – the Land of Saud.

  4. Dani is becoming a true gunner now.
We need to buy him next season and buy atleast Auoar this season.
Partey Ceballos Aouar can be a world class midfield but Xhaka isn't bad as well.

  5. I hope we can get him permanently next window, or at least in the summer. I was hoping Real would do us a coronavirus discount this year, but as long as this lad is plying his trade in an Arsenal shirt I am happy.

  6. It makes no sense for Madrid to keep this guy on loan. Just sell him to Arsenal already. Zidane doesn’t see a need for him, but I’m sure he will be respected, wanted and idolised here at Arsenal. Do you agree? 👇🏾drop a like if you agree as the board need a hint 🤦🏾‍♂️

  7. How come Barcelona or Madrid can't see him as the next generation of iniestas or the xavis…. This guy has insane ball control smart movements his turnings are breathtaking… But Madrid s lost is arsenals gain.. I'm happy I would want a permenant transfer for him… But under zidane Spanish players are dying.. Ceballos, brahim, isco, reguilon (who had a gr8 season wif sevilla)… Zidane was a good player but can he bring out the talents in a young player and make them shine like wenger did… I don't think so… The like of Ferguson wenger they could turn someone unknown to someone special… Under arteta there is so much improvement from the players…. Arteta is like the mini guardiola….
