Dynasty warriors 3 is my favourite
Toei dropped the ball on DW9 they forgot that we love Dynasty Warriors for being repetitive. They can add new game modes here and there but they didn't need to overhaul it entirely.
DW 3 + XL was the best package.
So much content.
Tactics 2 also a super underrated game.
DW2 was average
DW4 was good. Better than 2
DW5 was…okay but it felt lacking compred to 4.
DW empires was an interesting twist. It felt like tactics + DW combined
DW5 & DW5 Empires were fucking amazing. Just thinking about how much time I spent playing those games almost brings tears to my eyes. Everything the stages, character models, weapon designs, music, and even the AI was perfect! Miss those days…

The problem with the later versions of the franchise (I.e. after DW5) was that they seemed too unrealistic in terms of combat. For example they’re way too many enemy soldiers at any time lol the older versions seem like they had a more reasonable amount of soldiers
I cannot relate with these people… Because the only games I played were DW6 and DW8XLCE…
I pretty much enjoyed those ^-^
DW2 was the first game i ever played in this series i loved it so much i used to go around te map killing every single enemy then i would lose because time expired

Anyone saw the post on Twitter from blackKite? It’s a post about the future games for Dynasty Warriors. Lowkey excited about it. DW9 was a meh to me but after seeing the post, I’m feeling like the next musou games are going to be awesome since ps5 is coming out soon too. Imagine them graphics and everything looking differently. Lol. But we’ll see. Having high hope for the next DW,SW,and other games that are going to be coming out on the ps5.

Quick update: Dynasty warriors 8 xl and empires have been released for Nintendo switch. Empires is yet to see a english release.

Dw2 when you face lu bu at chi bi, i guess but idk, that time i raged alit because i lose like 5 times in a row 😂😂

For me this game is end in DW5. But DW6 to DW9 they aren't Dynasty Warriors they are another game.
honestly i just want dw10 to be like dw8 i never thought dynasty warriors should've been an open world game and really the only warriors game that could pull it off at least decently well was dragon quest heroes 2 but while i know that if hyrule warriors had a sequel it would probably go open world, i just hope its like the first one. also i really think a final fantasy warriors would be pretty cool

It’s just funny to see that before dynasty warriors was a hack and slash game it was a stage fighter. And then we are now doing open world… which imo just needs a better approach to the open world thank just walking over items to collect. But ya know. Well see what they do with dynasty warriors 10

Unimportant fact 1: The numbering of title in Japan and Korea is number that minus 1 on English ver. (Sorry about my English..)
For example;
English ver – Dynasty Warriors 4
Japan and Korea – Dynasty Warriors 3
Unimportant fact 2: The title in Korean is 진 삼국무쌍(jin Samgook Mussang). 'Samgook' means 'Three Kingdoms'.
