This took me forever to find and download.

Crack is based on CODEX and includes English, Japanese, and Chinese. PREVIOUS UPDATES ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED.

Does not matter which update you are on. All you need is Dynasty Warriors 9 (base game) and this patch, then you’re good to go.
Just simply overwrite into your main game folder. It includes every update leading to 1.28, so it is large files. Crack/gamepad fix is located in the folder with 2 KOREAN SYMBOLS. I’ve included instructions just in case. Please back up your data–
For users experiencing max level characters, reset the games save data back to 0 by going into the profile folder and deleting the contents of the save directories in “player” and “VALVE”. Thanks to another user in the comments.
One user reported that you need to install version 1.14 to use co-op before installing this package. Hope this is not a problem for you!

CONTROLLER FIX:
1 – visit
2 – download 32-bit or 64-bit depending on which version your game runs on. (If you get it wrong, the software will clearly tell you when you run the software.)
3 – place the “x360ce” software into the main game directory and run it.
4 – choose auto install then run the game.
5 – if you have problems, make sure Steam is closed or Steam’s controller support is turned off. Any other overlays or controller support should be disabled as well.
6 – If this does not work, solution: Create copy of xinput1_3.dll with name provided below till you find one that works:

xinput1_2.dll
xinput1_1.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll

I did not create this crack and patch. Credits for recent updates go to contributing users from the east side of the world 🙂 I am just happy to have this and I want to share this. There is a low chance that I will find future patches and upload because they aren’t easy to find and life is busy. My only ask is you help seed for other users or get this shared, at least.     thanks! For the users of controllers similar but not xbox original, use the x360ce emulator, and change the name of xinput1_3.dll (the emulator create this automatic in the dynasty folder) to xinput9_1_0.dll. Its run for me.

    Incase anyone wanna reset the save lvl100 files back to a fresh new game.Delete the "PlayerData" folder located in C:Users[YourUsername]DocumentsKoeiTecmoDynasty Warriors 9 for Steam. After that, delete the "saves" folder in C:GamesDynasty Warriors 9ProfileVALVE and you're good to go.

    tnx man for this was searching for this long time ago and then just gave up but today searched up if there are dlcs with updates and found your work, tnx man again, and tnx to this dude in comments for gamepad fix, i had that prob when i played the game for the first time, cheers.

    well now im amazed a hidden gem is lurking within youtube… thanks for the game ^^ hope more updates get added soon

    Edit: to add u can use https://fromsmash.com/ to upload and share the files without an acct and it has no limit of how much you can upload also no adds wise or pop up its too shocking its honest but the Downside is your files has a time limit of 14 days of download availability before it gets deleted advantages is its as fast as Gdrive with IDM (Have a Nice day ^^)

    thanks a lot for putting this together. im getting the all lvl 100 characters issue so ill probably need to reinstall the game before the new patch and make some new save data to try to replace whatever the patch carries over. ill let you know how that goes soon.
