Hopefully it takes the good parts and improves with Dynasty Warriors 10
Dynasty Warriors in general is a boring game. There's tons of enemies that doesn't even do anything other than waiting to die.
This game is practically like metal gear 5, both in which are masterpieces. Riding straight to the boss you could always do in all dynasty warriors game's ever. Because it isn't wave-based like hyrule warriors/Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2. Your arguments to why this game is bad makes zero sense. Get a grip. 2/10 review. Very low quality review, too nuch ranting, zero great arguments. Follows the popular opinion train.
Dynasty 9 is by far THE best dynasty warrior to date. Sadly, many don't get why.
Please make dw4 with dw7 this will be the best dynasty warriors of all time

Auto run makes you use the longest road (the very longest one), go manually and rush, you'll reach your point in no time

Dear lord I'm not a Dynasty Warriors fan and even I think this game is a waste of time and money
I used to love this franchise when I played video games all the time but as my play time went down over the years I lost touch with Dynasty Warriors. I would most likely put Dynasty Warriors 3 in my top 5 all time games. Had no idea what number they were at until I saw this video. Thanks for the heads up, guess I have to wait for 10 on PS5 to get back into the franchise.

Totally agree with your review. In indonesian words we usually captured the battle system of the late DW series with the terms of HEBOH BANGET. But this game is not even close to HEBOH
I started with DW4 and I'm upset that for new gen, my only options are DW9 and DW8 but its empires
Open world is a way for game developers to lengthen few hours of content into a few more hours of content. It's also a way for them to fool dumb gamers into thinking they have more freedom than they other ways would have which is false. Yes you can decide in what order to do things, and run a lot in between places. But that's not freedom, that's a waste of time.

We didnt ask for your opinion we wanted to know if it was worth buying not your experience we wanted to hear the facts and yes its stupid how much the game cost to get the full version but it's still entertaining and in my opinion it's worth getting but we came here to hear facts that proves that the game is worth buying we didn't ask for opinions.

i stopped playing dynasty warriors after 6 because 7 , 8 , 9 was trash it was really disappointed look how they did the combat awful just going alone and killing 1000 of soldiers what ind a shit is this i really miss dynasty warriors 4 where u had ur bodyguards protecting you and fight with u the combat was way better then this crab

Before you buy the title is fake it's not a dynasty warriors game
I appreciate what they were trying to do, but China is way too big for this series to be open world. What they should have done is allow exploration of cities and towns before and after battles. Travel points within the towns would have worked much better than the open world.

Thank you I was on the fence about this game, but at the moment I am no longer going to buy it. Sad I am a big fan of Dynasty Warriors and I wanted to get back in the series but clearly that is not going to happen at this point.
DW2 was the best in my opinion. They should definitely remaster that game with tons of new features including online multiplayer
